Goals
- Assure that all options and program safety nets are implemented within the regular classroom prior to placement within special education. Serve students in least restrictive environment that will meet student needs.
- Effective, pragmatic, parent understandable Individual Education Plans and 504 Student Accommodation Plans.
- Coordinate MJUSD activities with parents, SELPA, Mental Health, and Systems of Care to assure a full continuum of local options to meet student needs.
- Meet all state mandates for special education and health services.
