The Superintendent’s Health and Wellness Advisory Group requested we develop a spreadsheet that will help employees better understand their health plan choices, and which plan(s) provide the best value for their families.

 

In coordination with our partners, the California Education Coalition for Health Care Reform (CECHCR), we developed an Excel spreadsheet for each bargaining unit and defined group that illustrates the value of each health plan available to you.

 

The spreadsheet also includes tools that highlight your payroll deduction, the health plan’s yearly Out-of-Pocket Maximum that will allow you to see your annual maximum cost for the plan you choose. We do not recommend you pick one plan over another but want to provide you with the tools to make the best decision for you and your family.
