Welcome to third grade in room 6. I am looking forward to working with you this year.
This is a very important year for students. We begin to make the transition from a primary classroom situation to an intermediate classroom situation. I'm looking forward to helping your child make this transition. To make growth this year students need the benefit of a partnership between home and school. For this partnership to be effWelcome ective, I need you help! I need your child to be ready to learn. The following things can be done at home to help out the student:
The student needs a good night's sleep.
The student needs to eat before school begins.
The student needs to be at school on time.
The student needs to have his/her homework completed.
The students needs to read for 20 minutes or more each night.
I believe that the students in my class can do wonderful things, and I'm looking forward to getting to know each of them this year. I want the wxperience in my classroom to be positive for all the students. I know that it can be a positive experience if we all work together.
