Our Mission

The department provides health services and school psychological services to all schools in the district. We work with parents, site instructional staff, the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA), neighboring districts, community agencies, and the County Office of Education to assure that:

• All MJUSD students receive instruction geared to their ability, and that special needs students receive appropriate services, due process, and accommodations to ensure academic progress.
• MJUSD students have all state mandated health screenings and health education and that support is provided to parents and sites in dealing with acute health care issues that impact student learning.
