English The English Department is committed to giving students a strong background in reading, writing, written and oral English language conventions, listening, and speaking strategies. All classes meet the California English Language Content Standards for Public Schools for grades 9 - 12. Students must be enrolled in an English class every semester until graduation. A total of 40 credits earned are required for graduation. |

MCAA offers traditional art courses designed to allow students to explore a variety of techniques, media, and theories, with emphasis on the traditional elements of art, as well as the principals of design. MCAA also offers graphic arts courses to exemplify art in a digital medium. Students can learn a variety of programs from the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as create graphic projects for use around our school. Marysville |
