Open Enrollment SBX5 4 (Romero)

The California State Legislature passed into law SBX5 4 (Romero), Open Enrollment, allowing parents the right to transfer their children out of schools that have been identified as one of the 1,000 low-achieving schools in California. You have the option to transfer your child to another school within Marysville Joint Unified School District or any district outside of MJUSD with a higher Academic Performance Index (API) than Yuba Feather or Ella Elementary as both schools have been identified on the list. Schools available for your choice within our district are: Foothill Intermediate, Dobbins, Loma Rica, Browns Valley, Kynoch, Covillaud, Edgewater, Olivehurst, Johnson Park, and Arboga Elementary.
