Yes it is, however there will be a 20% deduction for each class that the assignment is turned in late. NO ASSIGNMENTS ACCEPTED AFTER TWO WEEKS. |

How can I be prepared for class? |

Bring a pen or pencil (DO NOT USE RED PENCIL OR PEN – you will receive no credit for assignment) Bring your notebook, assignments due, textbook and lined paper. |

Grades are available on line. I do the best that I can to keep these grades current. During the first two weeks of school, the web address and your student number and password will be given to you. Do not loose it. In the office, Brenda can also give you your student information and a grade printout. DO NOT ASK FOR GRADES DURING CLASS TIME. |

I was absent, what did I miss, or I have lost an assignment? |

Check with others at your table. In the back of the room, in the gray paper box, are copies of recent assignment, you should be able to find everything there you have missed. For graphic art classes, you will need to attend tutoring to makeup missed work when you have more than two absences. |

I am late, what do I do? |

Enter quietly, and do not disturbed the class. I will not go over what you have missed. You will need to get that after class. You also need to drop a ticket in the ticket box by the door when you are late. |

Is there extra credit? |

Only for science classes. Extra credit is earned through Jeopardy and a few other ways. NO extra credit will be given when you have not turned in all of your assignments. Tickets can also be turned in for extra credit. |

Can I use my electronic devices? (CD players, MP3, cell phones, etc.)? |

NO, this has been abused, therefore no electronic devices are to be used during class. I will confiscate it for the entire day if you have them on. Your parents must come in and collect your phone, I WILL NOT give it back to you. This includes text messaging on cell phones. School policy applies. |
