The English Learners Master Plan is a guide to assist all schools in providing every identified student an instructional program which includes daily English language development, access to the core curriculum, and promotion of multicultural proficiency. The Master Plan demonstrates a collaborative effort among all departments to effectively serve English learners. It also demonstrates our commitment to collaborate with all members of our extended learning community: employees, parents, students, and community partners because together we can devise compelling and powerful programs for our English learners.

PIQE

An opportunity for parents to learn about the challenges to the educational system and strategies needed to be an advocate for their child. This workshop will focus on helping parents learn how to have an effective meeting with principals, teachers, and staff members. At the end of the training, parents will be able to speak with the principal about the most urgent needs affecting their students at school.
 
The workshops will be held Tuesday, May 15, May 22, May 29, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. at Yuba Gardens School in Room 6 and 8.
