MJUSD Stakeholders,
Hello and thank you for taking the time to participate in our LCAP process. The LCAP, or Local Control Accountability Plan is our district plan for improving student achievement. We are seeking feedback on this plan. Attached is a 10-minute video and presentation explaining what the LCAP is and where we are currently spending our funds.

Next, we need your feedback on our current LCAP. As we begin to make adjustments for our new  3-year LCAP it is important that we have stakeholder feedback. Attached is a short survey that will take about 5-10 minutes and is mobile friendly for your convenience. We would greatly appreciate your initial feedback.

Below are some additional resources that are referenced in the presentation.
California School Dashboard – This state resource serves as our “report card”. The dashboard uses “performance indicators” to illustrate school and district performance. The performance indicator compares the school or district to its previous performance and thus is based on our growth, not in comparison to other schools or districts. A link to the district data is provided:
Detailed Expenditures – The presentation of the LCAP offered summarized financial data. If you would like to look at the detailed expenditures from the current LCAP, please see the attached spreadsheet entitled “LCAP BUDGET SUMMARY FOR PRESENTATION”
Finally, this initial feedback helps provide us guidance as we make adjustments to the LCAP. Once we have synthesized this information there will be stakeholder meetings that you can attend to get further clarification and continue to contribute to the process. In the meantime if you have additional comments or questions, please direct them to lcap@mjusd.k12.ca.us.
Thank you in advance for helping us to create the best schools possible for our students, staff and community.
Together, serving every student, every day, in every way.
Thank you,
Rocco Greco
